Director's Message

Dr. ARUN MUDBIDRI – The Director of SIBM

As an elite B-School that commands admiration among aspiring management students, SIBM is singularly committed to fulfilling the expectations of its key stakeholders viz the student fraternity, the corporate community and society at large.

SIBM has a growing collaboration with the corporate world. This is evidenced by the continued relationships and the achievement of objectives these corporate development and training programmes are set out to achieve. Thanks to an experienced and industry savvy faculty, SIBM has to its credit several innovations in teaching methodology. This in-depth and focused training, together with novel delivery methods, has helped the corporate community successfully meet its needs.

As many have experienced, life at SIBM isn't exactly a cakewalk. Getting in is tough; getting out successfully is still tougher. The two years here will be full of rigor, assignments, burning the midnight oil and meeting stiff timelines. However, for those with fire in the belly, SIBM is the ideal learning destination.

While SIBM spiritedly continues to deliver quality management education, it also works for the social cause. As part of its inspired CSR, SIBM has joined hands with Local, State and Central government bodies to design and implement effective programmes for the benefit of citizens.

And for the student, what does it mean to be part of the SIBM family? It means that you benefit from a brand new residential campus at Lavale, Pune and world class infrastructure, a seasoned faculty, contemporary syllabi and an enviable placement record. Most of all, you become an SIBMite, a privilege aspired for by many but obtained by the ambitious few. And as a proud SIBMite, you get exposure to the best industry practices, get the edge from contemporary business learning modules run by SIBM in collaboration with premier corporate houses and training institutions and a firsthand experience of industry through the Students' Council, among other advantages.

I wish you all the best.
