Dr. Arun Mudbidri has a doctorate from University of Pune. His topic for Ph.D was ‘An empirical study of Institutions of Academic Excellence in Management Institutions’ based in Pune City. Dr. Arun Mudbidri joined Symbiosis in 1979. Since then Dr. Mudbidri has been involved in all the academic projects of Symbiosis Society. Dr. Mudbidri is a commerce graduate with an LLB & MPM from Symbiosis. He is an approved guide to the students wishing to do their doctoral programme in the field of management . He has been leading SIBM since 2000, and within a short span has taken SIBM to the top list of B schools in the country. SIBM has been consistently ranked 4th among the top Bschools in India for the last four years – 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009 . He is also a member of the Organizing Committee of ‘Association of Indian Management Schools -Western Region Round Table of Dean & Directors’.
