Co Curricular Team

The team’s objective is to assist students to achieve holistic growth. It endeavors to add more value to students’ life and give them an opportunity to express themselves. It also helps bridge the gap between SIBM and other B-schools across the country acting as an interface.
The team constantly strives to bring out the hidden potential of the students and give them an enriching experience with its numerous initiatives, which include Summit SIBM – Annual Management Conclave, Transcend – Annual Management and Cultural Festival, Transloocent – The Intra - College Festival, the seven activity clubs amongst others.

Summit SIBM

During the last week of August the team hosts a 3-day mega management conclave. Summit SIBM is an initiative to create an atmosphere conducive for the convergence of the brightest minds of the country. This annual management conclave is a platform for interaction of eminent leaders of the country, and aspiring scholars who have desires and ambitions to be a part of the corporate world. Summit SIBM focuses on the important contemporary business issues and is a great learning experience for the students. The width of subjects being discussed encapsulates the entire business horizon.

Transcend

Come February and the only buzz around is about Transcend – the 3 day annual management and cultural festival of SIBM. Transcend is the platform provided to the students to prove their mettle to the world outside. Transcend sees the best brains of the country fighting to emerge victorious in a range of diverse events such as ad-making to case studies, paper presentations to fashion shows, hard core management quizzes to rocking musical shows. Transcend raises the spirits of students and gives them an opportunity to compete, bond and unwind.

Transcend is a culmination of management competitions, cultural extravaganzas, the online games as well as the famous showstoppers. It brings a whiff of fresh air into the lives of the students at SIBM.

Transloocent

Held as a three evening intra college festival, designed to facilitate interaction between both batches. It is organized in order to build kinship amongst the students of the entire college to stand together against the world as SIBM.

Activity Clubs

The huge untapped resources of the new campus at Lavale provided us with an opportunity to form various activity clubs which are designed as a platform for those students passionate about their hobbies and desirous to showcase their talent. These clubs help the students to follow their heart and live their dreams. The various clubs formed are:

- The Quiz Club
- The Sports Club
- The Theatre Club

The Co Curricular Team believes in celebrating every occasion. It is the lifeline for the students when it comes to organizing the freshers’ and farewell parties. The exotic parties hosted by the team keep life at SIBM and its students full of excitement and vigour to achieve and reach the zenith of success.
