Admissions and Student Relations Team

The Admissions and Student Relations Team (also known as ASR Team) is the student interface for those aspiring to take admission to the institute. It maintains contact with the aspiring candidates via various initiatives.

The activities of the team includes

Organizing Corporate Career Counseling for MBA aspirants.
Conduct the admission process smoothly to create lasting impressions
Use unique methods of interface like “Coffee with SIBM”, SILHOUETTES and SIZZLERS to reach out to the incoming batch of students.

The ASR Team ensures the vibrancy of the SIBM brand in the student community and works towards making it count as one of the top MBA institutes in India.

Research Factory

Research Factory, popularly called as RF, is an initiative by Prof. Harish Maru along with a few students from SIBM. The goal of RF is to act as a strong research and analysis team for domestic and global events in the arena of Business. RF brings to light all the angles to a particular issue taking you from the academic to the business arena. RF publishes a fortnightly e-compendium named FORTHRIGHT which contains analysis of current business issues done by students. It encompasses both macro and micro aspects to particular issues. RF now plans to extend its scope to providing research solutions to external agencies and firms too.

Student Social Responsibility Cell

The SSRC is an initiative by the students of SIBM in an endeavor to bring about a positive change in the underprivileged sections of the society and take a step towards developing socially responsible corporate citizens. Current Projects

Adoption of village Mulkhed

Plans include:

Conducting sports events for children
Development of a self-help group of women for the establishment of cottage industries
Providing medical help by way of visits by doctors
Setting up of a library
Provision of computer education

Environment protection

The SSRC has taken up various projects in association with the WWF:

Setting up nature clubs in schools
Starting a plantation drive
Educating citizens about segregation of garbage
