SIBM & WIPRO launch an HR training school for Wipro’s Employees
Wipro & SIBM together have launched the HR School to train Wipro’s
employees in the HR function. This training has been designed in
such a way that the selected few will undergone a formal training
in various aspects of HR through SIBM along with an on-job training
in various departments of HR at Wipro. Wipro & SIBM already have
been in a long association for their formal management education
programmes with nine batches to their credit.
The selection for the batch was a very rigorous one with an entrance
exam as well as panel interviews being conducted. These trainees
who have been selected have been employed by Wipro and will continue
their studies along with their jobs. This programme will consist
of 15 modules of two credits each and will run through a tri-semester
18 month program. The coverage will include basics of HR, various
HRD Systems in detail, Organizational Behaviour, HRD Instruments
as well as the legal aspects of HR. They will also be required to
complete a project during their third semester.
These trainees on completion of this course will be awarded the “Executive
Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management” by the
Symbiosis International University.
