SIBM Live
SIBM Live is a corporate career counseling and mentoring program organized by the admissions team of SIBM, Pune for MBA aspirants wherein speakers with distinguished corporate profiles talk about MBA as a career and the avenues that open up after it. They narrate personal experiences and how it helped them in advancing their own career, apart from this they also answer all the queries raised by the aspirants regarding their own qualms about MBA and how to get over them.
SIBM Live this year, was conducted across four cities.
1. Dehradun
2. Vishakhaptnam
3. Guwahati
4. Kochi
The event was hailed by the media and had a participation of 1179 students across
the 4 venues.

The first speaker Mr Nitin Garg initiated a unique interactive session in which
he encouraged student participation thus ensuring student attention at all times.
The session was extremely informative especially for marketing aspirants. Following this, the speaker was given a memento and was seen off to the airport. The second speaker Mr Siddarth V. then took the stage and delivered an in-depth presentation which answered most of the aspirant’s queries. He discussed the core specialization fields available in MBA and their prospects in future. |

The speaker was then presented with a memento and was escorted to his hotel. We
then showed the prospectus video to the audience to highlight SIBM’s new state of
the art campus and amazing infrastructure.
Following this, we spoke about SIBM and SNAP test at length. We also spoke about life of an MBA student from our perspective and tried to clarify any doubts that the students had in their minds. The participants were asked to fill up feedback forms and the ‘Graffiti sheet’ at the end of the event. |

The first speaker Mr Vijay Bhaskar took the stage and launched his presentation
with vigour and grace. He spoke for almost 40 minutes followed by Q&A session of
about 30 minutes The second speaker Mr Arjun Mudliar took the stage and captured the audience with his in depth coverage of the challenges faced in the life after an MBA and what level of preparedness should be expected of an aspirant The audience was again geared up with plenty of questions and the Q&A session went on till 1730 hrs |

We then showed the prospectus video to the audience to highlight SIBM’s new state
of the art campus and amazing infrastructure Followed by the video we spoke about SIBM and SNAP test, here again the students had lots of questions and the session thus carried on till 1800 hrs The participants were asked to fill up feedback forms and the ‘Graffiti sheet’ at the end of the event Some participants stayed back after the event for further clarifications from the speakers and us about SIBM, etc. The discussion lasted almost till dinner time |

The first speaker was Mr. Bibhash Barooah who is an alumnus of SIBM. He is working
in IndusInd bank as the region head of north-east.
The other speaker was Mr. Pulkeesh Rai Choudhri who is an alumnus of Lal Bahadur Shatri Institute of Management. Currently he is working as deputy manager sales in Mahindra and Mahindra. |

The event answered lot of queries in the mind of the students. The aspirants found the session very informative and they are looking forward to more events like this in the future. |

The first speaker Mr Pradeep P spoke for around 40 minutes about the various avenues
that open up for a typical MBA graduate in fields of Marketing, Finance, Operations
and Human Resources. He also gave the current market overview in these fields. This
was followed by a Q&A session of about 20 minutes The second speaker Mr Prasun Bhadani then took the stage. He talked about how an MBA is different as compared to other PG courses. He also shared some experiences and challenges faced by him in his own career. The Q&A session went on till 1700 hrs |
