The Aspirant Relations Team (ART) creates the interface between MBA Aspirants and SIBM Pune. It reaches out to aspirants, across the nation, planning to appear for the MBA entrance exams, informing them about the SNAP Test and SIBM Pune in particular. The various initiatives the team is involved in are:
Admissions Procedure
The primary task that is allotted to the ART is the execution of the Admissions Process for full-time MBA. The Admissions Process is undertaken every year by the team and the process is completely and comprehensively designed, planned and executed by it.
iAspire Web Portal
SIBM’s unique, one of its kind, initiative is a comprehensive one-stop platform for aspirants who seek to pursue MBA at any of the leading institutes of the country. The portal provides preparatory material for the entrance tests, interactive forums to address queries of aspirants and other relevant sections covering areas like alumni interaction and corporate tit-bits.Click here to visit the site
iAspire – My B-School Aspirations
A series of seminars held for aspiring MBA students where they get a chance to interact on a one-on-one basis with team members, and get an opportunity to seek clarifications on various MBA-related issues and entrance exams.
Sizzlers and Silhouettes
A unique online communication initiative, Sizzlers and Silhouettes updates aspirants about the latest activities on campus and enables them to learn more about the student-mix in our institute.
B-Quizzed @ SIBM
B-Quizzed @ SIBM is a National Level Business Quiz conceptualized by SIBM Pune aimed at all undergraduate (UG) students and MBA aspirants to provide them with a glimpse of the Business World. The event would be targeted at undergraduate students from leading UG institutes in India. The quiz would be conducted over 2 Phases all over India.
Coffee with SIBM
ART also conducts Coffee with SIBM, a unique series of informal interaction sessions, conducted in different cities across India. The event is organized to address any queries about the SNAP test and SIBM Pune. Coffee with SIBM 2009 was conducted in 19 cities and close to 5500 aspirants participated in the event.
OnBoard SIBM
OnBoarD SIBM Pune is an informal platform designed to get all the students, who made it to the final merit list, together. It includes online social networking sites where newly-admitted students can get a wealth of information regarding SIBM academics, infrastructure and campus life by interacting with seniors.
Buddy Program
The Buddy Program aims to make the experience of the shortlisted candidates to the GD/PI round a memorable one. The team assigns each shortlisted candidate a student from SIBM Pune who acts as a single point of contact for all issues regarding the admissions process.
City Meets
Informal meets are organized in various cities in the months before students begin their 2 year journey at SIBM Pune. Students from the senior batch interact with the incoming junior batch, giving them an opportunity to learn first-hand about life at SIBM Pune, before the session begins.
ART representatives, on invitation, also address students at various undergraduate institutions, providing guidance on MBA-related issues.
Through its initiatives, the Aspirant Relations Team ensures that SIBM Pune remains top-of-mind among MBA aspirants, and there is a ripple-effect of positive word-of-mouth created amongst the seekers of management education.
