Praj in association with SIBM, Pune Announces “Maha-Intrapreneur Awards 2011.”
On 30th November, 2011 Praj in association with SIBM, Pune announced Maha-Intrapreneur Awards 2011. This award honors and recognizes the efforts of “Intrapreneurs” or “Corporate Entrepreneurs” who put in their hardwork and efforts to accelerate the growth and profits of their companies.
This year, amongst a very competitive group of contestants, 6 most talented “Intrapreneurs” have been selected by the distinguished jury.
The awards will be presented in an award function on December 24th, 2011 at the hands of Chief Guest Dr. Abhay Firodia, Chairman and Managing Director, Force Motors Ltd and President, MCCIA in the presence of Pramod Chaudhari, Executive Chairman, Praj Industries Ltd. .

The two winners for the “Women Intrapreneur Awards 2011” under each Category are
Category A: Ms.Shobha Santosh – Director, Fujitsu Consulting India, Pune
Category B: Ms. Meera Badve - Founder Director, Niwant Andh Mukta Vikasalaya, Pune
Also a Life Time Achievement award is being conferred on the well-known Economist Dr.Vijay Kelkar who has held prominent positions in the Central Government including the planning commission (1973-77) and Commerce Ministry (1977) as Economic Adviser. He was the Secretary to Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister between 1985 and 1988.
On International Fora, he was Executive Director in the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Dr. Kelkar has been elected Chairman, Board of Forum of Federations, Ottawa, Canada with effect from January 1, 2010. He is currently the Chairman of National Exchange of India Ltd, Mumbai. He was conferred the Padma Vibhushan in January 2011, for distinguished and exceptional service to the Nation.
