Since its inception, SIBM Pune has had an enviable track record of 100% placements. What is truly remarkable, however, is not simply the quantity; it’s the quality of jobs garnered by students of SIBM Pune.
The education, industry exposure and time invested in each student is reflected in the quality of students who leave SIBM Pune’s portals to enter the corporate world.The Summer Internship Process for the 2013-15 batch was audited by CRISIL (a Standard & Poor’s company). In 2014, SIBM Pune joined a select list of nine institutes across the country to be audited as per the Indian Placement Reporting Standards (IPRS).

SIBM Pune conducted the summer internship placement process for the batch of 2013-15. The successful completion of the process reaffirmed the trust that the corporate world places in this institute and its legacy.
The total number of offers made increased by 11% over the last year, taking the total tally of offers made to 173. This included international profiles offered.Profiles were offered in a variety of domains, by organisations from diverse sectors including consulting, FMCG, FMCD, BFSI, IT/ITES, Manufacturing, Telecom, and others.

Regular recruiters such as Asian Paints, Capgemini, Castrol, Coca-Cola India, GE India Industrial Pvt. Ltd., Dabur India, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, Godrej Group, ITC, J.P. Morgan, Microsoft, Tata Sons and Pidilite Industries were welcomed back on campus for Summer Internship Recruitment Programme 2013.
Summer Internship Recruitment Programme 2013 saw a great deal of diversity, with regard to sector offerings. Students saw an opportunity to choose profiles from a variety of organisations, across diverse sectors.
New recruiters are attracted to SIBM Pune every year, with the quality of talent nurtured by SIBM Pune famous for being well received by the corporate world. Around 29% of the organisations on campus this year were first time recruiters.
Campus recruitment Programme
The Campus Recruitment Programme (CRP) conducted annually at SIBM Pune showcase the institute’s talent pool to the corporate world… and every year, the corporate world reiterates its confidence in the institute by recruiting on a large scale. With a clear focus on the holistic development of the students, the placement track record of SIBM Pune has always been steady.

With stellar performances being delivered in their summer internships and in the various corporate competitions opened to them, students are building up long-term associations with various organisations. The increase in number of Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) and Pre-Placement Interviews (PPIs) made to the students prior to CRP 2013 also proves this.
Twenty-eight percent of the Batch of 2014 received Pre-Placement Offers. The organisations making these offers included Fidelity Business Services India Pvt. Ltd., ICICI Bank Ltd., J.P. Morgan Services India Pvt. Ltd., Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Wipro Ltd., GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Ltd., Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd., Pidilite Industries Ltd., Cisco Systems India Pvt. Ltd., Capgemini India Pvt. Ltd., Cummins India Ltd., Idea Cellular Ltd. and Siesta Hospitality Services Ltd.
Students had the opportunity to choose their profile from a variety of organisations across diverse sectors. In addition, the companies coming on campus for recruitment offered profiles across a diverse range of verticals and functional domains like Investment Banking, Project Finance, Equity Research, Corporate Treasury, Business Advisory and Strategy, Compensation & Benefits, Industrial Relations, Organisation & Talent, Sales, Marketing, SCM Consulting, Logistics, Operational Research and Technology Advisory.
A host of new companies participated in CRP 2013, attracted to the strong, trustworthy brand of SIBM Pune built on the basis of talent over a long period of time. Some of the companies participating in CRP for the first time included Aviva Life Insurance Company India Ltd., Janssen India, Whirlpool of India Ltd., Mogae Media Pvt. Ltd., First Energy, and Google India.
